Rocksport offers 3 levels of youth climbing teams, designed to provide age/body specific experiences, instruction, and fun for our young climbers. We have both competitive and noncompetitive members and provide a variety of opportunities for personal choice, challenges, and goal-setting. Team members will receive a month membership, a 10% discount on gear retail, and have a specified number of organized practices with our experienced and knowledgeable team coaches. Extended hours for members (weekdays 9 - noon) are available for both Old and New School members.
Pebble Crushers - ages 5-7:
Pebble Crushers meet once or twice a week focusing on basic climbing technique, games, skill building, and fun! A great introduction to climbing indoors and transitioning to outdoors. Rentals are included in monthly fee.

Old and New School Climbers practice twice a week and focus on climbing technique, rope skills, strength/endurance, team building, goal setting, training games, and fun! A great introduction to climbing indoors and transitioning to outdoors. Old and New School members receive individualized instruction that is appropriate for both new and more experienced young climbers.

Youth groups, scouts, sports teams, etc.
Rocksport offers group rates for stand-alone experiences and progressive programs for any group. Rocksport can also provide physical education programs for home-schooled children.
We offer several different summer camp experiences for children in the area through the Queensbury Parks & Recreation Department.
